Margarita has been a preschool teacher with hands-on experience for over 21 years in Monterey County. She attended Hartnell College and San Jose City College, where she earned her credentials for teaching preschool.
In 2024 she completed training to become a Director for her own business. She has always loved working with children. Parents and students throughout the years have loved her for her disposition and attention to the needs of her students.
She is a wife and mother of 3, with 8 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with my family, cooking, camping & family reunions.

Miss Margarita's Child Development Center is a year-round center in Marina, CA. We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 2 years through 5 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We provide snacks and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. We use a play based and Academic curriculum. Our families come from nearby neighborhoods, creating a close-knit environment and strong parent partnerships. Whether we’re close to home or near the office, our center is ideal for busy working families and easy to get to – for pick-up and drop-off or to stop in for a visit.

"I can't say enough wonderful things about Miss Margarita. Over the past few months, I've watched my two-year-old daughter truly flourish in their care. The environment is warm, nurturing, and so thoughtfully supportive.
One of the standout aspects for our family is that the caregiver is bilingual and speaks to my daughter in Spanish. Since our daughter is growing up speaking Spanish, French, and English, having that Spanish language connection has been a beautiful gift. It's truly helped her feel comfortable and confident and just glow with happiness.
